Hoops with Heroes

Sandridge School and the Lynwood Police Department got together on March 1st to have their annual basketball game where students play against the cops.

The students turned out en masse to see how the game would play out. The Lynwood Police Department came to the court with their best players to play against the top players from Sandridge School.

The score was neck and neck until the forth quarter when the Lynwood Police Depart took hold of a sizable lead. The final score was: 42 – 29

The Lynwood Police Department wants to extend a huge thank you to the Sandridge School and their players for hosting a fantastic event and we look forward to next year’s rematch.
