Clerk's Office

Responsibilities
The Village Clerk’s Office is the custodian of the Village seal and keeper of Village records. The office maintains Village codes and official documents. The Clerk’s Office also provides information on elections and location of polling places, and is responsible for ethics management for all elected and appointed officials.

Services
The Clerk's Office is responsible for administering the following services:
  • Census Information
  • Freedom of Information (FOIA) Requests - PDF
  • Village Stickers & Alarm Permits
  • Business Licenses, Animal Licenses
  • Voter Registration
  • Notary Services
  • Mobile Notary Services for Seniors (65+)
  • Passport Applications

Board Meetings

The Village of Lynwood's Board Meetings (both the Committee of the Whole & the scheduled Board Meetings) are held the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month. The Committee of the Whole is held at 5:00p.m. and the Board meeting begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. Both meetings are held at the Municipal Building in the Village Board Room.
