Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the citizens of Lynwood with fast, effective and professional fire, rescue and medical services through the use of trained personnel and quality equipment. We continually strive to prevent the loss of life, personal injury and property damage through public education and emergency responsiveness, we will render our services with pride and personal commitment to the individuals in need of aid.

About Us

The Lynwood Fire Department consists of 25 members, 3 full-time and 22 paid-on-call. They work out of one station that is staffed 5 days a week 16 hours a day and covered by paid-on-call personnel the remainder of the time.

The department responded to 944 emergency calls last year.
