Village of Lynwood Notification System

 
The Village of Lynwood hosts a combined 911 center with Lynwood, Thornton, and East Hazel Crest.
 
We have replaced our CodeRed Emergency Notification System with a system called Connect CTY.  As we have done in the past, the system is used to notify the residents and businesses of emergency messages.  The new system will also allow us to send messages that are not considered an emergency, but are considered important and urgent in nature.  If you receive such a call, caller ID will be displayed as 999-999-9999.
 
We need to update the database that we use for the new system.
 
Even if you have registered before by using the CodeRed System YOU MUST re-register for the new system.
 
We emphasize, in order to update our database, you must re-register.
 
If you know of someone who does not have a computer, you can obtain a registration form at the Village Clerk’s Office, Police or Fire Departments and we will do the registration for you, or you can register for them.
